Description: Antique 16" Sevres Style Porcelain Footed Amphora Vase, Brass Handled, Signed DoeckerPaintings are of angels and goddesses and signed by Doecker, am Austian illustrator in the 19th C.No maker's marks found but shape and brasswork match Sevres in the mid 1800's and is common for smaller manufacturers around Paris at the time who mimiced Sevres designs. Very good condition. Appears base and handles may have once been gilded at one time. Porcelain is solid with no chips, cracks or repairs. Light wear on gold lace painting in spots.
