Description: Extremely rare and original early 18th century (1800s - 1830s) men's riding cloak. Black wool construction with red velvet panels, stand-up collar with black velvet lining. Raw bottom edge. Comes with original rope and tassel. Note the large hook closure on the collar. Good used condition. Great condition for a 200+ years old garment. Dry mud at the bottom of the cape. This could be cleaned off, but I believe this is part of the history of this piece.
