Description: Stunning workmanship and craft went into creating this one of a kind beauty! This antique 1920s/30s chocolate brown (may have originally been black) and pumpkin orange 2 piece silk dress has lovely details. The bodice of the underdress is made of a very lightweight brown silk and is attached to a heavier chocolate silk skirt. The closure starts at the bodice and goes around the waist to the left side with a series of buttons and snaps. The skirt is gathered at the waist with some shirring that doesn't have any stretch. The jacket features an adorable layered ruffled collar with a trio of orange silk flowers on the left side. The waist has a beautifully braided brown and orange silk sash finished with another trio of flowers on the left side. The closure for the jacket is a series of snaps that goes up the left side, over the shoulder, and up to the collar. The condition of this dress is pretty rough. There are holes throughout, some missing snaps, and fraying silk. The underdress has a large tear on the bodice on the right side. About a size xs/s B 34 W 34 L 44 Jacket B 36 L 18
