1940s Linen Suit Styled By Kay Dunhill Novelty Print Skirt Jacket Dress 2 Pc VTG

Description: For your consideration Vintage 2 piece linen 1940s “Styled by Kay Dunhill” skirt suit. The skirt has a working metal Talon side zipper & mother of pearl button. Faux pocket flaps on the hips of the jacket. Light shoulder pads. Unlined. No pockets. All over polka dot novelty print - reads like buttons or coins. Color is black and white. Marked size 14 - fits like a modern small, maybe medium. The buttons on the jacket were removed, and there is dye variance where the buttons were. Can be worn open or you will need to add buttons. (There are 6 button holes - I have a suitable set of 5 I will ship with the dress) Pre owned, shows general wear. Overall great set but is missing buttons on the jacket - sold AS IS. Presents well, slight fade. Has age discoloration in areas, underarm fade and slight soiling back of skirt. Back dart of jacket slightly pulled. There is a snap at the collar but it is missing one side. I don’t see any holes. Has not been recently cleaned but I heat steamed. There is an old dry cleaning tag on the skirt.
