Description: Up for auction is a beautiful dual censored registered mail cover from Voltri Italy to an Italian prisoners Oduio Albus in the the Linz Donau concentration camp in Linz Austria which was part of the larger Mauthausen concentration camp complex and slave labor camp complex. Postmarked September 7, 1944. In excellent condition. Priced to sell. Very nice postal history item. The Mauthausen concentration camp complex housed "incorrigible enemies of the Reich", namely the intelligentsia and political opponents of the Nazis.
