1950's VTG Suzy Perette Couture Bubble-Gum Pink Ruched-Cotton Full Sundress XS S

Description: Stunning "Suzy Perette" polished-cotton sculpted sundress in the prettiest bubble-gum pink color! Suzy Perette was not an actual person, but the name of a dress manufacturing company that made affordable versions of haute-couture Parisian designs throughout the 1950's. The Suzy Perette silhouette of cinched nipped-waists and full circle-skirts were extremely popular and a quality interpretation of Dior’s famous “New Look.” This adorable garment has the most flattering low-cut plunge, sweetheart, sleeveless bodice. The amazing ruched-detailing really sets this dress apart from other creations during this era. The dress is a vintage size 12, but fit my size 6 dress form like a glove and has the following measurements (Bust:33-34 inches Waist:25 inches Hips:Free Sweep Total Length:46 inches). This vintage designer dress is in good condition for its age, but it does have flaws ( a few holes on the ruched part, the hook and eye on the back needs to be tacked back down, what looks like a few grease stains throughout, some staining around the hem, and a brown stain at the waist… all of this may or may not come out, but I did not try to spot clean it or take it to the cleaners so it will def need to be cleaned). Perfectly working back metal-zipper. Also, the first photo is the best representation of the color and what the shape will look like with the proper underskirt. This item is over 50 years old and is truly stunning!
