Description: From a fine Rye New York collection we bring you this RARE beauty, an Antique English Bracket Clock by Ellicott. This a true gem for collectors and enthusiasts alike, crafted in London England, early to mid 19th century. Comprised of combination of wood and bronze, with a large white color face and Roman numerals. Sides of the clock have a pierced bronze grill doors, and above them are phenomenal ormolu Lion Heads. Front face bears the name of the maker "(John) Ellicott", and inside of the back is a retail jewelry label sold in Chicago in 1932. The clock is in its original form, all works are present, nothing missing. Good overall condition, showing appropriate age / use wear for approx 200 years of age, antique repairs, one ball foot was replaced (please see photos). Size is unusually large for the maker at 18.75" tall, 11" wide, and 6.5" deep. This will be a great addition to any rare clock collection
