Authentic Antique Italian Artisan Hand-Carved Gold-Filled Cameo Shell Brooch

Description: Lovely antique/vintage Italian artisan hand-carved rose gold-filled cameo shell brooch. This beautiful, hand-carved cameo is 1 3/8” long by 1 1/8”wide and weighs 5.2 grams. It is in very good antique/vintage condition with no damage other than, perhaps, very minor surface wear and/or oxidation. This cameo features a lovely woman with finely drawn features in profile, with an ornate, sweeping coiffure. She is firmly bezel set in a rose gold-filled setting with a beautifully dimensional rope frame. This setting has a spring ring pin fastener that works just as it should and that holds well. The setting is stamped on the back, inside the setting, “L. S. P.”, I believe, which likely represents the designer and “1/20th 12 Kt. G.F.” for the metal content. It has been professionally tested as gold-filled. The carved cameo shell has been verified by a gemologist. This is a really lovely cameo, beautifully carved by a skilled artisan and firmly set in a very nice, solid rose gold filled, ornate setting. ***PLEASE NOTE: Any display items pictured are NOT included.*** I request payment within two days of purchase and will ship within two days of payment via USPS First Class mail, insured.
