Description: Standard bore 383HP Chrysler engine with 516 closed chamber heads. This is one of the best combinations you could hope for in building a 383. The early blocks had the best metallurgy and the 516 heads offer the highest compression and many options for boosting horsepower. Rotating assembly turns over freely and there’s very minimal wear at the top of the cylinder walls. Engine has never been fully disassembled. I guarantee the block, crank, and cylinder heads are quality, rebuildable cores or your money back. For freight shipment, I will set the assembly into a 2 x 6 frame attached to a small pallet. Will ship to the nearest freight depot where you will be able to pick it up.
