Description: BUDDY EMMONS / BUDDY SPICHER - Buddies (VINYL LP, 1977) **NEW** Two legendary Nashville session musicians join forces to break the mold known as modern Country. Buddy Spicher is an American country and bluegrass fiddle player. Best known as a Nashville Tennessee session musician and member of Area Code 615, the progressive country outfit formed out of Bob Dylan's 'Nashville Skyline' recording sessions, he began touring in the late 1950s with Audrey Williams and later with Hank Snow. He was, at various times, a member of bluegrass band the Charles River Valley Boys and Texas swing outfit Asleep at the Wheel. Buddy Emmons was an American guitarist who was inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in 1981. He played pedal steel guitar, lap steel guitar, guitar, dobro, bass guitar and also worked as arranger, producer, engineer and composer. Once part of Ray Price's Cherokee Cowboys, and often part of the (in)famous Wrecking Crew, Emmons recorded extensively when he wasn't traveling with other artists. FACTORY SEALED, PRISTINE.
