Dayton Audio M4 4" Powered Bookshelf Speakers

Description: I bought these speakers not realizing that my A/V receiver does not have pre-out connections. So I am selling them at $100 below the Part-Express price, with free shipping. I cannot tell you what they sound like, but one review on PE says: "These turned out to be very musical and enjoying. I use them for my garage. I can turn them up loud enough to hear music even while wearing hearing protection while cutting wood. I am really enjoying these. I even ordered a pair of the 6 1/2 woofer versions, and awaiting those! I have not measured them yet, but I do not detect significant distortion even while playing fairly loud. Really pleased with this purchase. I use them mostly via Bluetooth from my Nvidia Shield in the living room. I did not care for the supplied speaker cables and felt that the banana plugs were not the ultimate in connection integrity, so I used my own teflon-coated, silver-plated copper wire. Overall these are a great buy! I think the amplifier power is just right. I am curious if this is an all-active crossover or are there passive crossover parts? I suspect this is an all-active setup, given that they advertise the use of DSP. I think the sealed enclosure also produces much tighter, more controlled bass than a bass-reflex design. The outer finish is very nice and flawless. I purchased the white. It appears to be matte, slightly glossy, and seems very durable." The only thing I did was attach some wall-hanging brackets, but the only really work well on the left/passive wired speaker - the right speaker has the amplifier and it's a bit heavy and need a more robut mount, IF you are going to wall-mount them.
