Description: Amazing WW1 Springfield M1911 barrel. This barrel is near mint. It's the most immaculate original production barrel that I've ever seen. It has crisp manufacturer's tooling marks where it was not worn from use. There are no polished contact marks from use. The lands and groves in the rifling, also, have not been smoothed or polished from use. This barrel is in remarkable condition. Please closely examine listing photos for the condition. I can send additional photos if requested. Clawson's describes the configuration of this barrel and its hallmarks, as correct for WW1. This barrel is clearly stamped with the 'S' Springfield manufacturers hallmark. Shipping will be USPS ground, insured.
