Water Based Non-Toxic Binder - Easihold is a water based, non-toxic, easy-to-use binder that leaves mulch & rocks permeable and fixed in place. Easihold is recommended to be used on any mulch or clean rocks of a 1/6" to 4/5" in diameter. Easihold is not suitable for vehicle traffic or frequent / heavy duty traffic. Easy-to-Use DIY Product - Easihold is perfect for use on new or existing mulch and rocks. When using rocks, dirt and silt deposits ought to be washed off prior to application. Ensure the weather conditions are good for the 72 hours post application. Simple Application & Ready to Use - Easihold is applied by either pouring over mulch/rocks using a watering can, by hand mixing it together in a bucket, or using an airless sprayer - without the need to dilute before use! Spray On COVERS 150 ft² per Coat Easihold can be spray applied using a standard airless sprayer. 3 coats are required on the same 50 ft² area. Spraying Easihold limits penetration into the base layer of the rocks. Great for achieving a larger coverage for decorative use, but this method won’t provide as strong a surface finish. Ensure to clean out your sprayer with hot water. Pour On Easihold can be poured from a watering can, ensuring your rocks are evenly coated. You will typically get less coverage from this method, as more Easihold will pour out. But the pour method can be useful for smaller areas. Make sure you use a watering can with a steady flow that is dispersing the Easihold liquid evenly across the rocks. Hand Mix MIXES 7 X 50LBS BAGS OF ROCKS The mixing method leaves the strongest finish, guaranteeing the rocks are evenly coated throughout. Mix Easihold with your rocks until they’re evenly coated. You can typically only use this method of application with new rocks - mixing with old, dirty rocks could be difficult. Application Guidance What is the drying time? Easihold is air drying so it is important that you do not over-saturate the area being treated. Leave to dry for 72 hours after application. How many sq ft does it cover? 150 square feet in one coat of the spray application. Is Easihold Permeable? Easihold coats the mulch/rocks in a thin film, and leaves the surface permeable. Minimum Application Temp 40° Fahrenheit. Temperatures should be rising during application. Less than 40°F and Easihold will stop drying. Please note that Easihold can be washed away if it does not dry before precipitation. What size rocks works best? We would recommend between 1/6” to 3/5" diameter for the best bond. But you can use rocks up to 4/5" and still achieve good results. Even larger rocks can be bonded if clean and angular, but we wouldnt recommend for any foot traffic.
