Description: DATING TO THE EDWARDIAN ERA FASHIONED OF AN IVORY SILK BASE THAT IS COVERED IN A BEAUTIFUL IVORY SILK SATIN WITH METALLIC GOLD LAME IN RICH FLORAL DETAIL. THE BUST IS FULLY IN SILK AND TOPPED IN THICK BRIGHT SHINING METALLIC GOLD BRAID WITH RIBBON SHOULDER STRAPS AT THE TOP AND A REAR CLOSURE. A WIDE BAND OF SILK RIBBON ENCIRCLES THE FRONT SKIRTING WITH TAILS OF THE SILK FALLING DOWN THE REAR AND SNAPPING CLOSED AT THE BOTTOM. THE SILK AT THE BOTTOM HAS A DENTAL STITCH AND IS FULLY SCALLOPED. CONDITION: NOTE THE CONDITION OF THIS DRESS. THE BASE IS STRONG BUT THE ENTIRE SILK TULLE IS IN NEED OF REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT.
