Description: Here is a beautiful 1950/60's Fratelli Toso Venetian cased glass square bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by Fratelli Toso, this pattern can be seen in the book, “ Fratelli Toso Italian Glass 1854-1980” by Leslie Pina. Page 163. A Murano Latino opaque white cased glass square shaped bowl with copper aventurine flecks and blue rings around the upper rim. Size Measures approx 2.5” tall by 10.5” diameter from corner to corner. 9.25” Width. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. There is some minor scratching on the interior along with some tiny black inclusions in the glass. The original label is still intact. “Murano Glass, Made in Italy" It is a blue and silver foil export label, found exclusively on Fratelli Toso glass.
