Description: I am selling this guitar for my dad. He is the original owner of the this 1964 Gretsch White Falcon Double Cutaway. I have the orignal bill of sale and Gretsch certificate. Guitar has not been modified in any way. All original. Plays great. Just had it checked and setup by professional luthier Ryan Scott. There is some shrinkage of the gold binding in the F holes and below the pick guard but it is sturdy. Ryan indicated that none of the cracks or cosmetic issues affect the playability. There is a small crack in the pick guard. Also it is missing a sleeve on one of the tuners. The felt pads for the mutes are gone but the internal mechanism is there and works. One jewel is missing from a volume knob. The case is in fair shape with some pealing of the shell. The orignal strap is included. some fraying on the back side of the strap pad.The back pad is in excellent condition with no cracks. All knobs and switches work as should. Sounds and plays as a vintage Gretsch should. He paid $174 for the case and $613 for the guitar. Serial number is 62412. These is a rare find. I doubt that you will find another like it, especially a one owner.
