Description: I’m the Masterbuilder for G&L Guitars in Fullerton, CA. I've been building guitars professionally for about 15 years now, and built as a hobbyist for another 5 before that. I built this VH 5150 inspired guitar back in 2017. I like making replicas of famous guitars for fun. This one plays pretty good, but I need to thin out the guitar collection so it's up on the block. Poplar body (supposedly like the original) Maple neck and board I had some aged hardware on it but it all rusted out over the years so I recently installed a new set of Gotoh tuners and a German made Floyd Rose Original. I also installed a big block upgrade on the Floyd. Pickup is voiced similar to a Seymour Duncan JB. Currently has no strap buttons installed but I can either throw on a set of eyebolts a la Eddie or I can install a set of black Dunlop strap locks I have laying around the shop for you, just let me know. Currently set up with 10's in E standard. If you want it dialed in with a different string gauge or tuning before you receive it, just tell me. Happy to set it up for you. Frets were very recently dressed and leveled on a Plek machine. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out and I'll answer them.
