He wears a large, green satin ribbon tied around his neck and an embroidered green shamrock on his chest. He was released by Ty on December 27, 2001, and retired on December 26, 2003. He is based on the Beanie Baby, also named Shamrock. His tag reads: "The Beanie Buddies Collection. Shamrock. Shamrock proudly wears a symbol of Irish luck and good fortune on his chest!"
