These cards provide any Judoka with a comprehensive list of the traditional Judo curriculum, which will be helpful in preparing for their next Kyu rank. Each set includes the curriculum for Yellow (Rokyu), Orange (Gokyu), Green (Yonkyu), Brown 3 (Sankyu), Brown 2 (Nikyu), Brown 1 (Ikkyu), and Black (Shodan). There are a total of five cards, each double-sided. The set also includes one additional double-sided card that includes over 100 additional Kaeshi Waza (Counter Techniques) and Renraku Waza (Combination Techniques). Each card is made from a 5x7 glossy index size card and provides a list of techniques and terminology appropriate for each rank, including both Japanese and English translations. These cards are easy to use, organize, carry, and study anywhere making studying any rank easier. The cards are great for beginners, intermediates, and advanced students, including seniors and juniors. We understand that every Judo school is unique and that every school has its own set of curricula; however, most of the Judo techniques and terminology are universal. Though translations can sometimes differ from school to school, overall, the terminology is relatively consistent. The techniques and terminology have been compiled from a variety of sources including various websites, books, posters, videos, manuals, handbooks, etc. We have spent the last year compiling the information into a clear, concise, and convenient manner. The cards are not intended to provide instructions on how to perform techniques, but rather serve as an outline of what techniques and terminology are required at each rank. Don’t wait!
