Description: The Kizer Sheepdog Mini is popular for a reason. Just a great everyday compact light yet beefy carry that works great for just about every EDC task. Not to mention it is cute as button. Do note: this is a more traditional non-locking slip joint version. Legal in states that do not allow locking knives and blade is under 3" which also meets most jurisdictions This model is a bit different than the original in that it does away with the flipper and has a more traditional blade slot/hole to open which minimizes the chance of accidental or unintentional deployment caused by a protruding flipper.The slip joint and detents work wonderfully and hold the blade open and closed securely. Handle and blade design makes it next to impossible to close on your finger of you are holding the handle. Your index finger will block closing and not be near any sharp edge if you accidently break the hold open detent. Can grip just the handle or jump up to the blade choil whch again makes sure the blade will not close. As with all the Kizer's I have fit, finish and action are spectacular.
