The cannons and wheels are from early vintage LEGO Pirates I and Imperial Soldiers sets from the late 1980s. Both the dark gray shooting cannons and brown wheels can be rare to find for sale, especially in the US. See photos and notes below for specifics about the part names, numbers and conditions. Dark Gray Shooting Cannon (part #x110c01): Barrels are generally smooth; one has some tiny indentations near the front. The shooting mechanism tabs at the back have some small indentations. Red Cannon Base 2 x 4 (part #2527): Very good condition. All clips are intact with no bends or stress marks. Smooth surfaces with little if any visible wear. Brown Wheel 8mm x 6mm (part #4624): Excellent. Little if any visible wear. Black Modified Plate 2 x 2 with Wheels Holder (part #4600): Excellent condition. Shiny with little to no visible surface wear. Not bent, wheels attach firmly. Old dark gray shooting cannons are very hard to find for sale in the US; shortly after release of the Pirates theme in 1989, LEGO stopped selling shooting cannons in the US and replaced them with the non-shooting variety. The old brown wheels are also a rather rare item. This version of the shooting cannon with a red base and brown wheels was only included in 5 sets from the early Pirates 1 era: 6274 Caribbean Clipper and 6285 Black Seas Barracuda. In Europe, this version of the shooting cannon would also have been included in 6271 Imperial Flagship and 6277 Imperial Trading Post. With brown bases, the cannons & wheels also appeared in 6260 Shipwreck Island & 6270 Forbidden Island. Will be protected for shipment with bubble wrap & mailed in a padded envelope.
