MAD #3 - 1953 - GOOD/VERY GOOD (3.0)! Lone Ranger parody! Classic EC!

Description: A sweet copy of a super early Mad -- a classic EC issue back when Mad Magazine was still a comic book! Although I'm not a professional grader, I'd give this a grade of Good/Very Good -- although it would definitely grade much higher if not for the centerfold being detached (but still included). PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES! The book is complete. It has a whisper of a forward bend. There is light wear and moderate creasing of the front cover with a vertical subscription crease, some creasing in the upper right area, and light scuffing along the right edge. There is a little bit of handwriting on the D in MAD. There are stress lines to the spine and a little bit of tearing around the staples. The pages are nice with light signs of aging and the stories themselves still pop with nice colors. As noted the centerfold is detached but included. The back cover has light wear and creasing. All in all a cool copy of a classic Mad and a must for your collection!
