Description: Mexico to USA cover 2 x 20 cent stamps cancelled 1937 Tabasco Airmail window I am going through some of my late grandfather's possessions, and he has some interesting postage stamps and envelopes. Grandpa lived in Ft. Madison, Iowa, where Sheaffer Pen Company was and still is headquartered. At the time, fine pens like theirs were often sold in jewelry stores, so Grandpa has envelopes from lots of jewelers, bookstores and stationers around the world that must have once held payments or orders. This posted envelope was slit at the top and right edge with a letter opener to remove contents. Attractive window envelope is from Jose Maria Bernal in Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico and was mailed to the W.A. Sheaffer Pen Company in Fort Madison, Iowa. The addressee's address is not seen, though, because the invoice inside was removed. Two 20 Cent stamps are clear and in nice condition. Normal handling wear. Postmarked 15 April 1937, Servicio Aereo, Villahermosa, Tab. There is also a large CORREO AEREO with an airplane above the window. On reverse is one additional cancellations. I will ship as soon as I receive payment.
