Description: circa 1970's (I believe) designed by Arthur Umanoff. Clock works made in Germany. I just had this clock cleaned and serviced and when I picked it up the gal told me that this clock, with its German built works, would long outlast me. I paid $95.00 for the service and you can see the receipt - last pic. This is a eight day clock. It does have some blemishes (which I have pictured - images # 5 & 6) on the left side. It appears to me that some of the wood may have splintered and some wood filler was used to repair. It wasn't done by me, because if it was you probably wouldn't even know it was ever damaged (but I would still tell you about it). So, if you're super picky about this sort of thing just move on to another. Somebody out there has the perfect home for this piece. If you're interested, remember that pendulum clocks go tick tock -- this one is not loud, but it does make noise. My wife is like the princess (in The Princess and the Pea) and couldn't sleep anywhere near this. This clock is in my youngest son's room. He just graduated from college (summa cum laude) and when he moves on we will be redecorating this room. The key to wind it is included. Approx dimensions 33.5" x 10.5' x 4.5"
