Description: Here we have a very unique, incredibly rare and gently used Early to mid 2000s New York Yankees Jorge Posada #20 WB Mason Employee Pop Tops Sewn Stitched MLB Baseball Jersey. This jersey is in excellent, lightly used condition with absolutely no rips, holes, tears, snagging, stains or markings. There is however, some light scorching to the fabric from the heat press as shown. When looked upon from the right angle you can faintly see the shape of the numbers have gotten transferred to the front when they were heat pressed to the back. This is a common issue with jerseys and the heat press, especially ones of color, as it is hard to tell on white. Rather inconspicuous here, you’d have a hard time noticing while wearing at a game or bar. There are no other flaws, damages or issues to note. Super sharp with no pilling, pulling or failures. Full sewn on graphics that are then heat pressed to seal the stitches, there are no creases to twill, wrinkles or detachments. All original buttons are present as well. Very clean and ready to wear. Well made jersey with twill letters, made of a micro mesh material. From my understanding, these jerseys were given to W.B Mason employees and the numbers at back were based upon the number of seasons they had worked with the company and ball club. I have only ever seen another and it was number 2. #20 was obviously worn by Posada, who of course is a huge part of the Yankee dynasty. Perfect for any fan, collector or enthusiast, this bad boy will most definitely turn some heads and set you apart from any crowd! Has seen light use, does have a little issue as discussed but overall a real sweet find, this one shouldn’t disappoint. Mens size XL.
