Original WW1 German Imperial Army Brass Trench Lighter

Description: This is an original, First World War era brass trench cigarette lighter with logo of the Imperial German Army on both sides. Circular design, similar in size to the Imperial German Army belt buckle (55mm in diameter). I have disassembled all the parts and tried to show them as clearly as possible in the photos. Cotton wick is still present, although there is no flint. I don't see any hallmarks. Although well over one hundred years old, this item is in excellent condition for its age. It makes a fantastic display for collectors of WW1 German items, or vintage trench lighters.
