The film is damaged starting approx at the 10' mark, there are portions of the film that have broken off and are damaged; the film holds together but would break if it was played . First few inches of spool show wear and light warping from use.8 mm tape. Spool diameter 3 5/8". Original cardboard paper red and gold sleeves, showing wear, use, discoloration and light damage. The film is suitable for display or repair only. Original printed paper insert. The subject of the auction is an original film chronicle from 1942. The film shows German battleships break through the canal, fleet departing from the port of Brest Luftwaffe naval support and battleships Gneisenau , Scharnhorst and Prince Eugene.
