Description: Vintage Pioneer SX-1000TW solid state receiver. First off... the veneered plywood case is damaged at the right front top corner, that is about the worst of it, aesthetically speaking. There are some other slight scratches and minor dings, but the glass and polished metal faceplate are very, very nice. No missing knobs, nothing stuck, or bent. The only other issues I have noticed are the FM meter doesn't work and dial lights for the dial need to be replaced. This is old, 1970's old, nothing has been done to her, but she works really well for her age. Some scratchiness on some controls. It does seem that the auxiliary (Aux) connectors on the back are in need of re-soldering or something as the sound is low on the left channel. The tuner/ receiver part receives radio stations very well even without an antenna. Not going to tell you that she doesn't need servicing, she does, but she will play as she sits now. She'll come with a set of speaker connectors also. Will be safely packaged for the journey to your house. She's a beautiful unit and needs a good home. I will be offering local pickup if you're close enough.
