Description: Custom cold air intake setup for a 1997-2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP & likely other Grand Prix builds. Spectre brand lightweight aluminum piping. Piping has wear & tear, minor scrathes, etc. (see pics). Original box(es) included for piping. Have the small one for sure, will have to check for the larger pipe box. Authentic K&N washable filter in good condition. Minor wear & tear/ rubbing on the lower portion of the filter where it sat in the fender well. Uppermost connection that goes onto the throttle body already has a perfect groove/ channel that got imprinted into it so that portion should slide right on & will have a nice snug airtight connection after tightening the stainless clamp. Also I created a perfect hole for the air intake temp sensor. It will plug right in & be snug. You can run it the short way & pull in air from the engine bay or connect it all up & find a way to run it all the way down into the wheel well splash guard for the coldest possible air intake at your own risk (caution with flood water & hydrolocking the motor). I recall having to cut out a small metal piece of the chassis inside where this gets routed if you want to run it all the way down into the fender well to pull in air from just above the driver's side wheel splash guard/ wheel well. Definitely remember it taking some careful maneuvering to get the lower part up & through the opening on the side & then connecting the two sections. Once I got the hang of it though, I could do it in the dark without looking & just by feeling around, Lol! :) This was one of my favorite & first mods on that car & I spent a lot of time trying out different setups & tinkering & experimenting with it over the years. - - - - - Please see other items for sale as I have TONS of parts available for this build!!!!
