Description: Excellent vintage condition. Minimal surface wear, patina consistent with age, some stretch and bends to the wiring. All crystals intact and in excellent condition with no visible cracks or defects. Necklace consists of 24 14mm crystal orb beads and 24 faceted cube rock crystal beads. The orb beads are undrilled and wrapped in wire with floral motif end caps; the faceted beads are drilled and wired through the center. The wires securing the orbs appear to be sterling based on the feel, buttery sheen, and patina. The wires running through the faceted beads are either sterling or sterling plated. We did NOT attempt to acid scratch the wire findings to avoid damaging the structural integrity and the crystal orbs and beads themselves. This incredible piece is a rare version of the highly-collectible Pools of Light rock crystal orb jewelry, which includes alternating faceted crystals that seem to capture and amplify light and depth through the orbs. An amazing necklace that almost became a flip fail from a recent Los Angeles estate acquisition. Very carefully packaged and shipped in a jewelry gift box.
