Description: For sale is RALPH BURNS & the Quiet Herd: "Very Warm For Jazz," on Decca DL 9207, Mono, DG, 1958. SOUND: VGIt has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The first couple cuts on side A are a little more crackly, but still within the criterion for a VG record though... the rest of side A and all of side B is clearer with routine, light surface noise. Overall a very decent playback. VINYL: VGThere is a feel-able mark on the beginning of side A, results in some noise as described above. The rest of the vinyl has more routine handling/playing marks, nothing serious. The labels are small, DG maroon/silver Decca, with light spindle marks. JACKET: VGThe top edge is split and the spine is together, but frayed. Otherwise, the front and back covers are pretty clean. The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics. Buy-it-now for $12. Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability. Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
