Description: Here we have a 1960's Kay K571 "Speed Demon" Electric Guitar w her original 2 tone chipboard case! ~See Video~ https://youtube.com/shorts/ybnmblycYrU?si=64i8PUbIe86wq_Lx *Summary* What a COOL classic guitar this is. Has a wonderful and uniquely rich tone. This guitar would really work well with styles like Classic Rock, Rock-a-Billy, Folk/Punk, and Singer/Songwriters. But that's just our opinion. Heck, go chug-chug some djenty black metal breakdowns with it, no judgement here. This hollow body arch top axe projects with nice volume & balance unplugged, but for greatest example of what she's capable of, please PLUG her in! Axe would be a nice versatile studio guitar, having a low output "speed bump" single coil pick up, as well as mostly original components. Difficult to find this model in such nice playing condition. Recent full rehab and pro setup by Dave Fecca Guitar Repairs of Moorestown, NJ! *Condition* Playing wise, this guitar is in very good condition. This beauty just had herself a full professional rehab & pro setup. We're looking at mostly original components! The only non-original parts are the replaced age appropriate tone & volume knobs. Everything else is original inside and out! This K571 has OBVIOUSLY been played a lot. It has all the markings & mojo of a guitar from this era that's actually been played and not left all alone in a museum case for 60+ years. As such, this is a naturally relic'ed instrument & they are the best type, IOHO. For starters, it's missing a pickguard. We honestly think it looks cooler this way. There are dents, scuffs, and scratches all over. We took meticulous pictures to try and document every possible blemish we could see, but there are a lot. We recommend taking your time and zooming in all of the pictures we have so you have a more accurate representation of this piece's condition. At the end of the day, you're buying a Vintage Guitar like this because it looks and sounds pretty and has no shortage of character, not because it's perfect. *Additional Specs*Low output "Speed Bump" single coil pickup19 fret rosewood fingerboardAdjustable wooden bridgeVintage original tailpieceOriginal Kluson deluxe tuning machines3-bolt neck (original bolts)Original 2 tone chipboard case is included We aim to be 100% transparent in our listings, hence our detailed descriptions.
