Condition In overall very good condition. The title page is nominally torn as well are the few preliminary pages. The first few pages are quite brittle; no maps are affected however. All 90 maps are present and accounted for. There are tabs showing the particular maps at the right edge: several are missing. The covers are present and attached yet worn. This is a HEAVY book, weighing in at over 25#! The single page maps measure 23" X 14 1/2" while the double page maps are 23" X 28". Quite an impressive work... One map (Russia) has a sizeable tear and the US map is split at the centerfold. The text block is broken but the maps are generally just fine thank you. This would be a good restoration project as what few copies of this atlas are in the open market trade for multiples of our opening offer.
