RESTORED VINTAGE ADCO RAPID 100 BENCH VISE 4 In JAWS 31 LBS POLAND

Description: This vise was restored by me. Painting a vise is not restoring. A restored vise is totally taken apart each part inspected for damage.MANY VISES UNDER ALL THE DIRT OLD COATS OF PAINT ARE DAMAGED.Often the seller doesn't even know about the damage. After inspection all paint is removed scars are removed by sanding all non painted parts polished. Many vises need new pins and screws. Then the vise is primed and painted highlighted greased and assembled . Why buy a restored vise because it looks beautiful? The answer is no you buy it because restoring a vise is costly and time consuming . When you buy a old vise you are gambling you really don't know what you are getting. And after adding all it takes to get a unrestored vise to LOOK AND WORK as this one does buying it restored is the good deal. I USED NO FILLERS ON THIS VISE. The vise is 15 L 7 H 4 in wide jaws and weighs 31 lbs. The color is hammered Green with White highlights. This vise is in perfect condition everything lines up perfect you cannot buy a better vise . THESE RAPID VISES ARE EXTREMELY WELL MADE I personally use a 6 in version of this vise as one of 3 vises I use in my restorations . I have restored over 800 vises so I could use anyone I want.
