Description: SATO RACING [R]-Side Engine Slider (Type1 design) for Suzuki GSX-8S and GSX-8R (part# S-GSX8ESR) features a slider puck made out of high density black DELRIN, a tough, abrasion-resistant material with low-friction properties ideal for protecting the bike from scrapes or more serious damage if you lay it down at speed on the track. The slider has a standoff sufficient to keep the lower R-side engine case area and surrounding bodywork from touching the pavement during a slide, with the puck absorbing and dissipating any potential damage. The slider puck is mounted to the right engine case cover with a high strength anodized billet aluminum bracket and collars, with stainless steel bolts. Recommended for install (not included in kit):Threadlocker (Loctite or similar) ________________________________________________ Limited warranty covers workmanship or functional defects that are apparent when the parts are new, and does not cover issues such as normal wear and tear that may arise due to regular use. Additionally, due to the infinite number of ways a bike can crash, and other variables such as road surface type and condition, we cannot guarantee the sliders will perform as designed in every crash situation. It should also be noted that the slider puck material is very hard so it can perform well in an extended slide, but the rigid design means it might not be as effective protection in a kickstand fallover and other hard falls with blunt force impact.
