Description: Triumph BSA 500 650 750 Cleveloc Nuts (6) 5/16 inch-24TPI PN# 14-1302 The Cleveloc nut is used in a myriad of locations throughout BSA and Triumph models from 1969-onward. Cleveloc nuts are special nuts designed to withstand vibration forces and can retain their tension when relatively low torque values are applied to the fastener. This Cleveloc nut is a 5/16-24 TPI UNF nut used on many applications, such as carburetor mounting studs, fork spindle cap retaining studs, petrol tank mounting studs, and exhaust mounting bolts. Made in the UK. The Cleveloc nut features an ovalized ring incorporated into the design of the nut that grips the threads of the bolt or stud it is fitted to.
