Description: Here is this extremely beautiful rare vintage solid 14 K yellow gold custom-made ladies bracelet with 17 oval polished Australian fire opal cabochon's each about 8 mm x 6 mm and their gem CT weight has been research through a online calculator with the pictures enclosed giving them about .60 each giving the bracelet a approximate 10 carat total weight all 17 opals combined. Carefully examined under magnification these are gorgeous natural Australian fire opals without scratches or abrasions each in a sturdy setting capped to the east and west of each gemstone to hold them in securely . This type of clasp was mid 20th century vintage and it is marked 14 K very lightly on the tongue that I have attempted to photograph but please notice the 14 K rope safety chain, it is the sturdiest safety chain I've ever seen and may not be original because it looks like part of a rope necklace and the old owner must have had it professionally attached by a jeweler to protect these opals. This bracelet weighs 11.2 grams and closes at about 7 3/8 inches. The width of the bracelet is the opals about 6 mm all the way across.
