Description: This is an original antique (very early 1900s) Oliver Standard Visible Typewriter, No. 3, in classic "batwing" style. Condition is good, but it is very dirty and dusty inside and could use a good cleaning and oiling. The platen does not advance when the keys are pushed, but it will advance when helped along by hand. All other moving parts seem to work, but might stick a little. The paint shows some minor, light wear and some oily buildup from use, and there might be some spotty surface rust on the metal pieces. The keys are a little dirty and stained, and the space bar has an end broken off. The typewriter measures 14 1/4" L x 14" W x 10 1/4' H. It will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping.
