Description: A beautiful art deco style 10k yellow gold Pottstown, Pennsylvania, high school class ring from 1938. The front of the ring has an embossed oval with a triangle in the center, and an oil lamp in the center of the triangle. Below the triangle is "1881" which is the year of Pottstown High School's first graduating class. The lamp serves as a symbol of a continuous search for wisdom and knowledge. The inside of the ring has 10k, E.C. Pal. and the initials MS. The initials MS are for Mabel Samsel. The ring is in good condition with wear consistent with age and storage including the writing on the front oval are worn and scratches are on the gold. The back of the band has a split that we weren't able to determine if it was the original design from the maker.
