Vintage Early 1970's Browning #3518 Sportsman’s Fish & Bird Knife and Sheath

It has a hole for a lanyard or to attach a keeper cord.MARKINGS: “BROWNING U.S.A.” on the left tang.SHIELD: NoneLINERS & PINS: N/ABUTT CAP/FINGERGUARD: N/A SHEATH: Top grain folded and stitched leather belt sheath, embossed with the Browning name on the back. YEAR OF MANUFACTURE: 1971 or later (I have a fairly complete set of Browning catalogs, and the information on this knife was taken from the 1971 Browning catalog, the first Browning catalog where I could find this knife offered).BOX: NonePAPERWORK: NoneCONDITION: The knife cleaned up nicely. The blade is full and has never been sharpened, retaining the factory edge. There are no scratches on the two faces of the blade and it does not appear to have ever been used, but the blade and handle show some spots and the development of some patina. The sheath is intact with all stitching with the belt hangar, but it looks like a gray-like substance has mottled it on the front and the back; there are no cuts, scratches, or tears. I would rate the knife about 90% condition, never sharpened or used, but with age spots and a marred sheath.PAYMENT: Checkout though the eBay portal, which provides multiple ways to make payment.
