Description: 1966 J bass body, 4.5 pounds Refinished, routed, presents fine with pickguard discolored/aged in many spots, small drawing in blue on forearm contour of Hobbes from Calvin &Hobbes comic, difficult to see, depicted in photo #6 Looks good, difficult to photograph, lots of wear and marks, extra strap holes apparently was played lefty for a while, didn’t have a pickguard for years, HEAVY gouging from some serious slapping has dug into the wood Slim belly contour Finishing Nail holes visible, always thought this bass was originally Olympic white, and it was, but looking at it now after 15 years I realize it was originally Oly white OVER sunburst! Oh the 90’s……..smh
