Description: Here we have a classic vintage Melody Cruiser Radio from 1946 Restored and Working! It has been restored and all of the old capacitors have been replaced with modern types; the tubes checked and now she is working beautifully. The boat was refinished too, new dial cover, a lighted dial. The shiny chrome sails look pretty good after 78 years, there is some minor pitting that's to be expected. The sails have been cleaned and polished. All the rigging lines are in place. This is a great working conversation piece for any collector . The label says Westinghouse Electric, General Electric, and Hazeltine Corp, I'm guessing it could have also been a Majestic She's a fine looking sailing vessel and measures Bow to Stern 23" Long, Sails are 18" High and her Deck 6" Port to Starboard. This Melody Cruiser is ready to sail into your port. I'm a collector of antique radios not a radio technician and therefore no warranty is offered or implied for this 78 year old radio.
