Decorated with the zanfirico technique: pink retortoli (twisted fancy ribbons) and white latticino (filigrana latticework) and glittering with generous 24k gold aventurine (polveri) from under. Beautifully scalloped edges. It's a stunning piece, in hand, and prettier than the photos portray.
