Description: "My Indian Library" book set includes the original box and eight paperback books of illustrated stories about Native and Indigenous children's lives. It was published by the Platt & Munk Co., Inc., in the USA, likely 1935. Each book is illustrated in color, and the titles are: Morning Star A Little Pueblo Girl; Watlala An Indian of the Northwest; Antelope A Navaho Indian Boy; Leaping Trout A Little Iroquois Boy; Micco A Seminole Indian Boy; Winona A Little Indian of the Prairies; Nigalek A Little Eskimo Boy; and Gray Bird A Little Plains Indian. The box measures 8-1/2" x 7-1/2" and is still bright and colorful, but worn and dirty, especially at the corners, and there's a tear in the lower edge. Seven of the books are in good condition, however one, "Nigalek" is in very bad condition, with pages missing, stains, etc. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
