Waverly Regal Rose Jacquard Screen Print Vintage Upholstery Fabric Scrap Bundle

Description: About 1 ½ yards total of Waverly upholstery fabric, in the “Regal Rose” pattern. It’s a firm, smooth jacquard-woven cotton fabric of medium weight printed with a brown, pink and green floral spray design with cabbage roses. According to the selvedges this fabric was treated with Scotchgard, which is typical of upholstery from this era. Originally it was 56 inches wide. There are 3 pieces altogether of various sizes. All of the pieces pictured are included. The largest piece is in pristine condition, unwashed and unused. On the wrong side there are brown spots, but these are part of the production process and not damage or stains. Both selvedges are intact. The long strip also has both selvedges intact, however it has stains. Telling by the fraying on the cut ends and the shrunken width, it has been washed. The smallest piece is cross-shaped, with circular cuts taken out of the corners. The cuts are not frayed and from the texture, it has not been washed. The following are measurements of the pieces, arranged by size with the largest first. Big piece: 35 inches x 56 inches Strip: 14 inches x 54 inches Cross piece: at least 12 inches x 19 inches There’s enough here for a pillow or to recover a chair, or to make a vest with vintage charm.
