Description: Wonderful. High Color. Vintage Vogue 1953 Beryl #43 with plastic curlers and cape in case. Strung. 8" Hard plastic. Strung well. Will hold any pose. Sleepy eyes in fixed open position which is accepted by most collectors. Big blue eyes framed by a full reddish brown shiny wig. She was stored wearing her hat. Hair may need to be fluffed up a little. Light reddish brown eyelashes and brows. Well defined. Rosy cheeks and rosebud mouth. Excellent face coloring . All original. Marked VOGUE DOLL on back. No marks stains, cracks, rubs or bad odors. She has all fingers and toes. Excellent conditions. She is dressed in a pink and black checked cotton skirt and an off white organdy top. Her top is trimmed with lace and has black ribbon ties at her wrists and a bow at the neck. She is wearing a straw hat with a black woven band. There is an added slip to puff out the skirt of the dress. All are in excellent condition. She also has matching bloomers that have good elastic. There is a Vogue doll tag on a seam under her dress. Her shoes are black oil cloth shoes with the Greek center snaps and rayon socks. She is from the Tiny Miss Series. She comes with an acetate case containing plastic curlers and a cosmetic cap. It is tagged with Ginny Instructions on how to wash and style her hair. She has a little bear with her to accompany her to her new home. She is shown in the pink First Edition of the Collectors Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls by Izen and Stover on Page 103. She is in the Colorful World of Ginny by Barbara Clark as well.
